Banjara's Skin Positive Beauty Cream

I received a free sample of this Banjara's Skin Positive Beauty Cream few weeks ago and hence tried it at home. After trying the hair oil, I was more than happy to try this beauty cream. The cream claims to make the skin healthy and repair the skin, making it youthful and flawless. It contains pomegranate which helps the skin repair process and makes the skin firm and tight.

This Banjara's Skin Positive Beauty Cream comes in a small brown colored tube and its packaging is good. I like the fact that the opening of this tube is not big and is thing so that only less volume of cream can be taken out at a time. On the first day, I tested this product on my hands to see if it causes any irritation as my skin is sensitive. When it did not cause any harm, I applied a small amount on my face and since the fragrance was not that pleasing (it smelt like a medicine), I managed to keep it just for 30 minutes and then I washed it off. The cream is pinkish brown and on applying it, it got dry within 3-5 minutes which was good. Since then, I have been using this product for 4 weeks continuously and I noticed an unusual glow on the face which is why I do not find the need to apply makeup and leave the house. My friends also have complemented me saying that my skin looks quite young and fresh which makes me purchase this cream soon and try it again.

Pros:

1. Non-greasy. It does not feel sticky or greasy on the face and is immediately absorbed by the skin.
2. Packaging is good.
3. Skin feels tight and nourished.

Cons:
1. Fragrance is not pleasing and it smells like a medicine rather than a beauty cream.
2. The cream's effect doesn't last long and one needs to use it regularly for better results.

Review: L'Oreal Paris Fall Resist 3x Conditioner

I purchased this L'Oreal Paris Fall Resist 3x Conditioner 4 months ago from an online shopping website after reading positive reviews of the same. This conditioner comes in a black bottle and its price is around Rs. 60 which is quite reasonable. The main reason of purchasing this conditioner was that I suffer from hair loss issues and this conditioner is from a very popular brand that I trust. As per the product details, this conditioner helps to reduce the hair fall by 90%, make the hair stronger and resistant, nourish the hair roots and prevent split ends.

Initially, I did not have the Loreal shampoo to use before the conditioner and hence I used a shampoo product of another brand and then applied this conditioner to the hair. The conditioner is white in color and I had to take out an extra amount while applying to my hair as it's long. I massaged this conditioner on my scalp and left it for 7 minutes and then washed it off. The hair while washing felt very soft and even though this conditioner doesn't have a pleasing fragrance, the touch of the hair felt extremely good. After wiping my hair and blow drying it, I noticed that it was very easy to comb the hair as there were no knots and the quality of my hair appeared good and better than before. The hair fall as well had extremely reduced and I could hardly find strands of hair on my towel and on the ground while combing it.

Pros:
1. The hair fall reduces by a great extent.
2. The hair quality improves a lot which proves that this product nourishes the roots.
3. There is no need of applying oil after using this shampoo.

Cons:
1. The split ends have not been prevented after its use for 2 months.
2. The quantity of conditioner available is too less and hence it doesn't last for even 4 weeks if used regularly.

Review: Banjara Samvridhi Hair Oil

I recently received this "Banjara Samvridhi Oil" as a trial product and I also recollect watching an advertisement of this product online wherein the advertisement described the ingredients of the products and claims that it makes the hair strong and healthy. I suffer from hair loss and this product was perfect for my condition. I was initially skeptical to use this hair oil as the brand is new to me but after reading positive reviews, I decided to use the oil as it's ingredients contained herbs and oils that help hair growth and reduce hair fall.

The hair oil comes in a small transparent bottle and the color of this hair oil is green and it smells of herbs that was refreshing and soothing for me. On applying it, I felt cool and it was good that this effect did not remain for long as it would cause me a headache. As per the instructions mentioned with this trial pack, I applied this hair oil for 15-20 minutes and then washed it off with shampoo. I combed my hair then and noticed that the oil had not been completely washed off and hence it was easier to comb the hair. I have been using this product for 5 weeks now and the hair fall has reduced slightly but I cannot see a major difference in the quality of my hair. It is still the same but I am happy to note that earlier I used to see almost a bunch of hair falling while now it has reduced to few strands.

Pros:
1. The fragrance of this hair oil is pleasing.
2. The hair does not feel too sticky or oily after applying the oil.
3. The hair fall reduces to a good extent.
4. The ingredients are coconut oil, olive oil, sesame oil, amla and henna which help to reduce hair fall and also act as a conditioner for weak and dry hair.

Cons:
1. It has not helped my hair growth.
2. There is not much difference observed in the hair quality and it feels dry at times.

My Trusted List of Beauty Products

Everyone has a brand set in their mind for a particular product like I have. Here I am listing some household products and the brand I prefer to buy and also the reason for choosing them:

Soaps: Pears, Lux, Dove

When my daughter was small, she used to always tell me to purchase Pears soaps as she loved the ads which used to be shown on television. Now, I purchase Lux toiletry soaps because they are a trusted brand and their products are reasonably priced as well. Dove is a bit expensive and their soaps begin melting when exposed to water and one soap lasts for less than a week and so I prefer using Dove body wash instead.

Shampoos: Pantene

I have been purchasing Pantene shampoo for the past 20 years and always trust this brand. It has always worked for my hair and the price too is reasonable. Now, Pantene has introduced shampoos suiting different hair types as well which is really good and now I have many choices. This brand is my favorite one.

Face Creams: Ponds, Olay

I am using Ponds powder and cream for many years. I trust this product as it has worked for my skin and its price too is reasonable. This product is very popular among other brands as well. Olay is my favorite brand in terms of face creams although the price is quite high. I use this product as I have personally visualized a difference in my skin after using this product.

How do I treat my hair?

About my hair:

My hair is quite thick and wavy. I love my hair since I am able to plat it, tie it up and leave it without thinking for a second and it does not break often. I do have split ends but the quality of my hair is good. I appreciate my hair whether it's good or bad since it has made me look what I am. It is a part of my body and is God's gift. I have not cut my hair since 5 years but only have trimmed it as the hair does not grow quickly. I have shoulder length hair which is not too long and not too short as well and I can easily shampoo my hair and wash it off within a minute. That's what is the best part as I do not need to spend time in washing my hair.

The ways I've treated my hair:

Salon treatment:

I go for a hair treatment to a salon regularly and get my hair oiled and apply a serum which protects the hair from getting entangled and damaged due to the sun, dust and pollution. I also apply Pantene shampoo which makes it feel soft and helps in nourishing the strands, thus avoiding them from splitting up. This treatment has helped me a lot since the time I've started it and it's very necessary for the hair quality to improve and it helps hair growth too.

Home treatment:

The best formula I've learn since the past years is that, it's necessary to use coconut oil for the hair and hence every week, I take a small cup of coconut and heat it for some time. I then apply a small amount of this warm oil in every strand of my hair and then leave it for about 15 minutes. After this, I wash my hair wish a shampoo and conditioner and then dab it slowly with a towel to leave it dry. This has been another way I've treated my hair.
